DEPUTY FINANCE MANAGER
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will be to assist the Finance Manager to maximize the company’s return on financial assets by implementing/establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems.
You will be expected to assist the Finance Manager in:
• Implementing strategic finance projects as required
• Controlling invoice processing activities and ensuring that all client
transactions are properly recorded, regularly reconciled, and
fully accounted for. You shall also ensure that information
to internal stakeholders is delivered promptly and correctly
• Managing all financial relationships with Media Partners and overseeing
the process of daily posting of invoices and debit notes to ensure
accounts are up to date as well as account reconciliations, payments
and closures in order to improve the reputation of the company and
avoid disputes
• Performing financial accounting and reporting activities to ensure
efficient management of general ledger, fixed assets management and
inter-company accounts and reconciliations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance or any accounting-related
discipline with a minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification (ACCA/ACA)
experience in a marketing communications company or a related
business
• Substantial work experience in management, with a high
volume/velocity of financial transactions that require correct,

• Must be intelligent, analytical and numerate with good communication
(written & oral) skills
• Proficient in the knowledge and deployment of ICT and accounting
systems (e.g. Sage Line 50 and Pastel/ Evolution, and
other ERP accounting software)
