Technology Company, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Key Responsibilities
- The responsibilities include targeting, engaging and
acquiring the most highly valued segment of the business.
- The main purpose of the role is to drive sales of our
services in Nigeria. The candidate will be expected to build
strong relationship between assigned accounts and the company,
Aggressively Pursue and close any and all international and
local business opportunities in line with company’s service
portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships with as many key
contacts/decision makers as possible inside customers’
organization and enhance a long-lasting business partnership.
- Include key Company personnel into the relationship to
ensure that relationships run as deep as possible into both
organizations.
- Must be proactive in Identifying and meeting IT needs to
clients.
- Be the “voice” of the customer identifying issues and
addressing them throughout the organization in a proactive
manner.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and
profitability targets.
- Research and develop strategic and innovative ideas for new
products and means of introducing the product to existing
clients and new clients.
- Consistently look for new accounts that can be included
into the portfolio but understand the need to have a consistent
and focused approach
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects
and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and
analyzing sales options.
- Act as the single and main contact for all accounts
assigned to the portfolio, in respect to commercial activities.
Requirements
- Must have a First Degree in any Computer related Course and
must have at least some IT Certifications.
- Must possess the ability to work as individual but also
understand a TEAM approach.
- Strong Customer facing and presentation skills.
- Must speak and write the English Language at a high level.
- Must be outgoing and easily able to build relationships at
all levels.
- Must possess a stint of Financial Acumen. Understand how
our work impacts customers’ and our company’s bottom-line.
- Must be able to work under pressure and quickly adapt to
changes.
- Must also possess multi-tasking abilities.
- Candidates must have at least 6 years’ sales experience,
Ideally within the Information and Communication Technology
Industry.
- Must possess good analysis and judgment skills.
- Experience working with corporate structures and
business-to-business sales.
- Proven track record of successful revenue and annual profit
generation.
