Consultant Collaborative Partnership LLP is a multidisciplinary
firm of Consultants in the Building Industry situated in Victoria
Island, Lagos Nigeria, we are currently recruiting to fill the
position below:
Job Title: Project Mechanical Engineer
Location:
Lagos
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare drawing list and project work plan.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily
communication and coordination with other departments.
- Assist with conducting training needs analysis and
departmental/individual training on quality service standards
and statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support Project Engineers on-site with relevant information
as may be required for optimal performance on site.
- Act as the Firm’s Engineering expert and represent the Firm
in contract negotiations
- Assist the design and production teams, review engineering
content with clients and partners, direct day-to-day
departmental requirements, plan and assign work and establish
performance objectives.
- Proactively lead constituted project teams and attend to
all project administration and management works.
- Resolve technical issues and establish patterns and
practices for the department.
- Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all client
questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure a high level of
customer satisfaction and escalate where necessary.
Requirements
- To be successful in this role, you must hold a B.Sc in
Mechanical Engineering with over 5 years’ experience, 2 of
which must have been spent at a senior position handling
similar responsibilities in a reputable organisation.
- You must be able to prepare/design Heating, Ventilation
& Air Conditioning (HVAC)specifications designs and
construction drawings and be ASHRAE and COREN certified.
- For this dynamic role you must be energetic, creative, and
innovative and must have worked on many complex projects.
Key Performance Indicators
- All drawings and documentation meet the required standard
and specification.
- Effective co-ordination of all team members
- The ideal candidate will also be able to give strong
attention to detail, with strong leadership, collaborative and
innovative abilities, confident to balance multiple priorities,
deadlines and possess initiative and courage to see all
assignments and projects through to completion.
- Effective management of different participating
Consultants.
- Build effective staff and management relationships.
- Able to think out of the box – think differently,
unconventionally, or from a new perspective.
Job Title: Project Structural Engineer
Location: Lagos
Duties and Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will also be able to give strong
attention to detail, with strong leadership, collaborative and
innovative abilities, confident to balance multiple priorities,
deadlines and possess initiative and courage to see all
assignments and projects through to completion.
- Prepare drawing list and project work plan.
- Develop and produce new methods and/or alternative designs.
- Assist the design and production teams, review engineering
content with clients and partners, direct day-to-day project
requirements, plan and assign work and establish performance
objectives.
- Assist with conducting departmental and individual training
- Resolve technical issues and establish patterns and
practices for the department.
- Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all client
questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure a high level of
customer satisfaction and escalate where necessary.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily
communication and coordination with other departments.
- Assist with departmental training on quality service
standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support Asst. Project Engineers on-site with relevant
information as may be required for optimal performance on site.
- Act as the Firm’s engineering expert and represent the Firm
in contract negotiations.
- Liaise with industry experts to integrate market specific
considerations into the Firm’s Engineering library.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Ensure all drawings and documentation meets the required
standard and specification.
- Must be able to represent company positively to meet the
clients’ satisfaction.
- Able to think out of the box – think differently,
unconventionally, or from a new perspective.
- Guide Assistant Project/Trainee Engineers in achieving
qualitative standards in their various works.
- Effective management of different participating
Consultants.
- Build effective staff and management relationships.
Qualifications
- A first degree in Engineering with a good grade from a
reputable educational institution.
- Additional professional qualifications such as NSE and
COREN is a must.
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage.
- A degree/diploma in Project Management is an advantage.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Standard project management procedures
- MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, AutoCad, Revit,
Orion, STAAD, SAFE, Prokon Design software.
- 7 years post graduation experience of which a minimum of 2
years should have been spent at a senior position handling
similar responsibilities in a reputable organisation.
