We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Markerter / Sales
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Responsible for the development and performance of all
sales activities in assigned market.
- Work with sales team towards the achievement of maximum
profitability and growth in line with company vision and
values.
- Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer
base in the marketing area.
Key Accountabilities
- Sales and marketing of eCommerce retail portal
- Support the sales team in the business development activity
for product market segment(s).
- Client account management.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to
penetrate new markets.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing
plans as needed.
- Devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving
the sales targets.
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding
performance.
- Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all
completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and
approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business
ethics codes
- Map out potential customers and generate leads for the
organization.
- Generate new opportunities for the organization.
- Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and
activity reports submitted by Account Executives.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP
responses.
- Expand the business portfolio by adding complimentary
products / principals.
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market
that ensures attainment of company sales goals and
profitability.
- Responsible for the performance and development of the
Account Executives.
- Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for
effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals and
presentations.
Critical Skills and Requirements
- Must be holding Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline
preferable Social Science or Marketing.
- Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the region
- Good IT Skills excellence in Excel, Word and overall good
IT skills.
- Excellent Written and Verbal Skills.
- Must be holding at least 5+ years of relevant experience
marketing.
- A highly motivated and organized individual.
