Location: Lagos
Head of Sales & Distribution: you’ll have the
accountability to lead the sales strategy, developing and
execute the annual operating plan including the sales volume
costs as well as distribution and profit objectives
delivering towards business growth plans. The market space is
still very much a traditional trade business and NOT a modern
trade business and looking for profiles with individuals with
expertise in this field. On a longer term basis you
would be responsible for developing a strategic partnership
with the customer, thereby
ascending categories and optimizing in its positions in all
aspects of the commercial relationship. Asses the Sales &
Distribution System on regular basis with liaise with fleet
maintenance to ensure the best allocation/utilization of the
fleet in order to optimize product stock rotation Lastly, you
will oversee sales forecasts and sales strategy, performance
management, product pricing & price compliance, proposing
and directing the execution of programs to maximize sales
volume potential to achieve Plan.
What you must have Proven track record in FMCG /
Beverage business with a a focus on Traditional Trade &
Direct Distribution of which at least 7 years at senior
management level At least 12 – 15 years’ overall
experience in a FMCG of substantial size and turnover.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification: Bachelors Degree, Business
Administration
Experience: 12 To 15 yrs in a quality FMCG with
experience in direct distribution and traditional
trade
