BASE ADMINISTRATOR


SUMMARY OF KEY OBJECTIVES:

Manage the cash and the accountancy of the base

Compliance of the purchase procedure

Cash Forecast and cash flow

Manage the administrative aspects of employee information


QUALIFICATIONS

BSc. Accounting, Bachelor level degree in management, finance, or related field; MBA or similar higher degree a plus


PREFERRED

Previous ACF experience, previous INGO experience

Experience with donor-funded programs

Experience supervising others


RADIO OPERATOR/OFFICE ASSISTANT


SUMMARY OF KEY OBJECTIVES:

Perform Radio operator duties and responsibilities

Office assistant and support teams in clerical tasks


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

To contact immediately the base logistician in case of problem or incident.

Assists in additional jobs that do not interfere with his normal duties

Helps logistics (loading and off-loading cargo) if necessary

May be assigned to fulfill other logistic  duties on the absence of base logistician

Maintain good relation with ACF staff, UN Agencies, INGO, Local Authorities and Beneficiaries


QUALIFICATIONS

Completed Secondary education in an accredited academic institution.


ESSENTIAL

Minimum two years of relevant professional experience on office operation/assistance and related experiences.

Good knowledge and working experience with HF and VHF Radios.

Flexible in terms of working hours

Excellent command of spoken and written English.


PREFERRED

Previous experience in INGO at the same level of position

Knowledge about radio installation/basic maintenance, electricity or any technical field


PROGRAM QUALITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY (PQA) DEPUTY PM


SUMMARY OF KEY OBJECTIVES:

Lead the establishment of PQA systems and activities for the PROTECT IDP project to ensure compliance with donorobjectives and methodology.

Ensure proper and timely implementation of PQA tools and all monitoring and evaluation reporting

Document good practice from planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of activities

Represent ACF externally in relevant forums and working groups


QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor degree in research, statistics or demography or related field.

Higher level degree and/or significant research expertise preferred.


ESSENTIAL

Professional, motivated, open, creative, mature, responsible, flexible and culturally sensitive

Excellent communication, writing and analytical skills

Proven ability to translate evaluated results into learning strategies.

Experience in monitoring and evaluating  donor (i.e. USAID, ECHO, DFID, CIDA) funded activities

Skills on statistical and other software (MS Excel, SPSS, SPHINX, STATA, EPI Info, ENA for SMART, GIS, etc.)

Fluency in Hausa and English

Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)

Experience in humanitarian PQA or M & E.

Experience in designing and leading internal and external evaluation.

Experience designing and leading capacity building and training for national teams.

Familiarity with Management Information Systems (Databases) and GIS.

Commitment to ACF mission, values and policy


PREFERRED

Previous experience with nutrition, WASH, food security and livelihoods programming.

Previous experience with cash based interventions (i.e. cash for work, cash transfers or cash vouchers)

Previous experience with ACF


BASE LOGISTICIAN


SUMMARY OF KEY OBJECTIVES:

Manage the logistics supply chain

Manage equipment, communication means and the vehicle fleet

Manage the team

Reporting

Manage all rehabilitation and maintenance

Ensure proper security of office, warehouse, guest-house and equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Logistics, supply chain management, or related field

Minimum of 4 years work experience required

ESSENTIAL

Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, rigorous, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently

Expert User of Microsoft Office Suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Ability to manage and follow work plans

Capacity for analysis, synthesis and reporting of large amounts of information

Ability to think outside the box in problem management

Strong verbal, written and communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teams in a complex, multi-site work environment

Fluent in English

Good interpersonal skills – approachable, diplomatic, able to negotiate, influence, give and receive effective feedback, be a team player

Ability to manage stress effectively, and juggle competing priorities


PREFERRED

Experience in supervisory position an asset

Previous experience working for NGOs an asset, particularly international and/or health related NGOs

Fluency in one or more national or regional languages an asset

Proficient in IT and networking technology
