HEAD, GATES PROJECT (Based in Abuja)

This is a deputy director position reporting to the Chief Program Officer and will be responsible for the overall implementation of Maternal and Newborn Health Improvement project starting in Gombe State

REQUIREMENTS

ª      Medical or Nursing degree and a post graduate degree in a related program area (Population Studies, Public Health or Social Work)

ª      Not less than 12 years post NYSC working experience, the past of which must preferably be at senior management level

ª      High level of integrity with proven experience, working with consortium partners and delivering services within a collegiate system

ª      Experience in knowledge improvement for various cadres of health workers

ª      Must be familiar working within a donor community

ª      Good interpersonal, communication presentation skills and report writing skills

PROCUREMENT MANAGER, ABUJA

Reporting to the Director of Procurement, this position is responsible for ensuring an efficient procurement of non-health goods and services

REQUIREMENTS

ª      First degree in a relevant field with CIPSN/CIPS certification

ª      Not less than 8 years of demonstrated experience in purchasing and supply/procurement function, 5 of which must have been in a similar capacity

ª      Hands-on experience in the use of SAP ERP or any Enterprise Resource and Planning package for procurement business solutions will be a plus

Reporting to the Territorial Manager at the State level and Deputy Manager M&E at the HQ, this position will ensure that routine tracking, data collection and documentation are utilized to showcase progress on success of project indicators and interventions

REQUIREMENTS

ª      First degree in Sciences/Medical/Behavioural/Social Science or its equivalent in a relevant discipline

ª      Not less than 3 years experience in implementing monitoring and evaluation of health and related programs

ª      Must have considerable expertise in mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) M&E and research

ª      Intermediate knowledge of SPSS or STATA or Epi Info/CS Pro

ª      Knowledge of DHIS, MS-Access or other compatible database software will be an advantage

ª      Experience with conducting monitoring visits utilizing software and other tools including ability to develop M&E tools as needed and experience with government partners will be important to this position
