FACTORY MANAGER
Our client, based in Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria is a leading manufacturing Plant in the food Industry with a highly successful operation within the country

Due to recent expansion in operations and the completion for market share and leadership, the plant now requires the services of a FACTORY MANAGER who shall have the onerous responsibility for driving the factory operations of plant of profitability, market share and leadership with minimal supervision.

JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a very challenging position and the Ideal candidate’s job description includes:
Preparation of duty roaster for all factory workers; Ensuring discipline among  all workers, especially with respect to punctuality and diligence at work place
Ensuring that production process is according to plan;
Ensuring that the generating sets and the power systems function properly;
Co-ordination of overall electrical and maintenance work;

REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements, among any other expected of a management staff endowed with competence and character:
Nigerian;
A B.SC or HND in Food Science and Technology, Food Production Management, Microbiology, Biochemistry or any food related Sciences;
Aged 50 years and above
Have a persuasive evidence of successful management track record as Factory Manager in a reputable company is the manufacturing industry, at least 10years of it must be in the food industry;
Good working k knowledge of GMP, QMS and ISO systems;
Strong leadership quality plus analytical, interpersonal and communication skills;
Relevant and adequate professional qualification in the manufacturing/food industry;
Be familiar with the regulatory authorities in the manufacturing/food industry and be capable of representing its employer in meeting their demands.

This is a contract term, in the first instance, of 4years: April, 2001 to March 2015.
