To fulfill this objective, we wish to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the position of a Warehouse & Logistics Senior Department Head in our Warehouse & Logistics section.
The individual will join a high achieving management team, and the position offers good career prospects and succession management.
Position Scope:
The position reports to the Production Director. It is responsible for giving guidance and direction in the management of Warehouse and Logistics operations.
Key Result Areas:
* Planning, monitoring and control of containerization, dispatch and shipping areas.
* Management of sales orders from acceptance through to shipping.
* Coordinating logistical activities to meet customer requirements.
* Warehouse Inventory management.
* Communicating with Regional Sales and Distribution Office.
* Communicating with relevant Government authorities regarding export documentation.
* Equipment maintenance.
Person Profile:
* Any of the following Degrees:- Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business Management / Administration.
* Diploma in Transport/Stores/Procurement or Business Management will be an added advantage.
* 3 – 4 years experience in Warehouse, Logistics or Supply Chain management in a reputable organization.
* Between 28 – 40 years of age.
* Computer literate.
