Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading supplier of Fast Moving Consumer Goods quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. The company is looking to employ a Project Engineer (Mechanical) on a 2 year contract, whose functional area will be supply chain in its Engineering Department.
Job description
The Project Engineer Mechanical will be responsible for the Mechanical maintenance of Robust Project Management and he will also ensure that the engineering standards are in line with ASME, IME and other relevant standards.
Responsibilities
Provide technical inputs to company capital project proposals and ensure they meet SHE standardsEnsure project execution is in line with the company Standards and other acceptable global engineering standards.Ensure that all the company’s Capital projects are completed within schedule, quality and cost limits and OTIFParticipate in preparation of brief, project planning schedules, weekly Project milestone/report update commissioning and startup operations of new Projects and interpreting the company requirement into technical proposal. www.naijajobslink.comManage contractors and third party services providersManage safety and environment in the team and ensure compliance.Ensure proper asset management.Coordinate, coach and develop subordinates in line with the company’s capability building strategy.As necessary and directed to assist Engineering Manager on Engineering procurement and installation of Capital projects.Qualifications and experience
B.Sc degree or HND compulsorily with a Masters degree in Engineering.Previous experience as a project Engineer.Minimum of 3 – 5 years work experience in a similar role.Must be good at General Project management.Ensure implementation of TPM.Must be good at Inventory management.Must be able to manage people.Ability to work without supervision.Must possess knowledge of Microsoft packages and general computer operations skills.What is on offer
