We are recruiting to fill the vacant position of:
Position: Oracle UIM & ASAP – Technical Support Consultant
Role and Responsibilities
Raises support documents/tickets with Oracle support system and follow up for solution
Coordinates with Oracle support DBA, Technical I Techno-functional teams to implement bug fixes and to deploy the same in production
Provides technical training to existing and new users on new functionalities
Work in a production support environment to handle UIM and ASAP application related issues
Adhere to SLA as set by the customer in terms of response/resolution time
The candidate will provide user support and respond to customers’ queries
Performs root cause analysis for frequently occurring business challenges and develop strategy to resolve them.
Ensures compliance with application release, outage management and change control processes and standards.
Develop and implement solutions on Oracle Service Design & Oracle Activation in the Communications industry.
Advises management on roadmap for Application enhancements, identification, implementation of new modules and advanced functionalities as required.
Recommends to management: a strategy for Application and database upgrade, and implementation as required
Prepares status report/s to management as directed.
Qualification and Requirements
Experience in complex project/s that involve customization and integration of the Oracle OSS (OSM, UIM and ASAP) products
Ability to implement functional and solution architecture, product configuration, deployment methodologies and life cycle management for applications in the domain of service provisioning and activation.
The candidate should be well versed in OSM, UIM and ASAP environments,
Strong development and implementation experience in Oracles provisioning suite/products such as OSM 7.x (RODOD) and its relation to the UIM and ASAP (formerly Metasolv products).
Strong experience in technologies including Java/J2EE, Unix Shell scripting, CVS or other source control system and multi-threaded/multi-process applications.
Hands on experience in development and deployment of Web logic J2EE application server on Unix/Linux platforms.
Deep understanding of the OSS domain and the role of fulfillment systems
Strong experience with software creation environment such as Eclipse.

Bachelor’s degree in computer Science, Telecom Engineering, or related technical field from a recognize university. Masters in MIS will be added advantage
