We are currently representing a leading client within the Nigerian Marine sector for urgent search for a DP Vessel Manager.
We are keen to receive CV’s from qualified candidates within marine who are available to start soon with valid certificates.
Role Responsibilities
Managed offshore vessels in Nigeria and West Africa.
Work closely with the Operations Manager.
Handled the day to day running of the vessels, including certification, crewing matters, ship audit, safety, stores etc.
Carried out on and off hires surveys, vessels inspections, prepared repair action items and ensured vessels are maintained to class and flag
Interface with Clients; Customs, Immigration, shipping Agents, port authority and local communities etc.
Coordinate vessels importation and re-exportation.
Ensured certifications of ISM/ISPS.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Marine Compliance.
Qualifications and sea-going experience as a certified ship officer to STCW,1978 or as amended is an added advantage
BSc/HND in a relevant field of Management, Engineering or Physical Science
