TECHNICAL MANAGER
DESCRIPTION
The Manager Technical will lead the development and production efforts and work closely with the Lagos team to ensure necessary engineering input are provided in exploration evaluation, and also to design, plan, program and support the offshore installation of subsea completions. This will include completion of Water injection and Production Wells capable of natural flow. Provide operational support during the implementation and the completion of the programs, and also work within the Drilling Completions department to ensure safe and efficient operations on the wells and other Erin Energy assets.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Plans, observes and reviews formation tests, coring, cementing, surveys, remedial and production operations
• Inspects field equipment; reviews and analyzes electric logs and makes well completion recommendations
• Processing of crude oil export permit
• Processing of vessel nominations and clearance by NNPC
• Processing the documentary instructions for the vessels to be cleared by DPR/NNPC
• Ensure that curtailment documents are prepared and presented at the monthly curtailment meeting in Abuja
• Ensure that NXP forms are obtained and properly completed
• Obtain production quota, technical and commercial allowable for Oyo for the lifting month
• Coordinate monthly operations meeting with BAB/Century
• Prepare yearly work program presentation for petroleum engineering, petroleum production, production engineering, reservoir engineering & facilities engineering
• Plans, observes and reviews formation tests, coring, cementing, surveys, remedial and production operations
• Inspects field equipment; reviews and analyzes electric logs and makes well completion recommendations
• Evaluates contract and regulations, develops budgets pertaining to oil operations
• Prepares and presents formal written and oral presentation to city, department, contractor, and regulatory personnel
• Directs and ensures compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Collate and analyze production data from all the wells on daily basis
• Weekly, monthly, and annual production reports to DPR
• Update weekly production reports on the National Data Repository (NDR) system
• Participate in the weekly and monthly operations meeting with BAB and write MOM
• Produce conceptual completion designs, develop the design criteria set out by subsurface prospect data sheets. Appraise conceptual designs from a technical and a cost perspective to select defines final specification
• Liaise with key departments including contracts, subsurface, drilling, production, well services, subsea and the Asset Holder to ensure alignment of expectations with regard to well delivery
• Control Management of Change Process to ensure clear and concise assessment and communication of program changes
• Record Performance and cost progress (planned vs. actual) and prepare progress reports for management
• Compile and document the End of Well Report and hold end of well meetings, ensuring lessons learned are recorded and incorporated in future programs
• Manage interface relations between CPL and BAB
• Provide weekly reports to Management on FPSO performance and manage all upgrades to facilities on the FPSO and report to management
• Visit rig site during operations for audits, pre-spuds, and general visits

REQUIREMENTS
Degreed in Engineering
At least a minimum of 15 years’ experience development and production with an IOC or independent operating Exploration and Production Company, with which 10 years’ experience in management and resource management
Experience with managing others, and leading project initiatives
Project leadership and mentoring experience

Minimum of high school diploma or higher is required.
5+ years’ experience providing support at the executive level (industry a plus).
