POSITION TITLE Assistant Manager, Diesel Tracking
REPORTING TO : Chief Technical Officer
LOCATION: Lagos, Nigeria
JOB PURPOSE:
To Implement all activities involved in the seamless delivery of diesel to the
points of usage to ensure continuous Optimal diesel availability of 100% at
site and Reduced network Operating expenses to meet AOP Targets. That is.
Diesel sites Data Compilation and Ordering, Delivery & Monitoring, Monthly
Reconciliation, Payments and Performance Management Measures.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES
Responsible for day to
day management of site
fueling and diesel
delivery to deliver 100%
power availability and
Perpetual quality (
Customer)
Perform diesel sites data compilations by coordinating with MS, ISM,
PMC and Airtel at the region to provide firm list of fuelling sites and
quantity of fuel required operate a give BTS and switch site every
month.
Perform Monthly diesel allotment after considering the following: DG
capacity, actual consumption, number of working hybrid, PHCN,
IPMS and Solar
Delivery & Monitoring: Daily tracking of ISM loading from bulk
suppliers, ISM
Tracking and have complete visibility to the actual quantity of diesel
fuel delivered to sites at any point in time.
Provide detailed analysis of present fuel usage and level of fuel in the
tank at various site and initiate rescue supply when required.
Perform monthly reconciliation of diesel volumes supplied by ISM and
bulk suppliers.
Develop and manage trackers on diesel supplies and do follow up on
all approval requests,
Perform all other jobs assigned by CTO, GM and Unit Head.
Prepare and manage the
annual operating plans
OPEX (AOPs) for all the
active and passive
network systems in Airtel
Nigeria( Financial)
Contributes in the operations expense budget
Drive the end to end
Provide input to and manage the implementations of approved
process documents that relate to diesel.
Work with SCM on diesel ordering by ensuring that OAF, PR and PO
are raised and approved as at when due.process documentation,
implementation and
compliance to
processes, procedures
and policies to ensure
seamless operations
across all SP( Process
Management)
Develop and manage daily trackers on diesel supplies and do follow
up on all approval requests.
Formalisation and documentation of rescue supplies.
Develop and keep an up-to-date and accurate database for site diesel
consumption.
Report Management: provide Daily and monthly report on Diesel
delivery and diesel usage per site.
Validation of Vendor Invoices against actual delivery to site and
tracking approvals and Vendor payment.
Ensure recovery of cost due to triggered rescue.
Attending meeting on diesel issues.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure diesel supply to Airtel sites meet the required quality standard
and specifications necessary to meet the minimum regulatory
requirement.
Partner Management Interface with ISM Vendors, MS partners, Bulk diesel suppliers and
other diesel vendors.
Good knowledge of client /contractor relation management

Qualifications &
Functional / Technical
Skills
? Holder of HND or BSC from a reputable institution
? Excellent ability to develop and manage database
? Basic understanding of Mobile Network O&M
? Basic knowledge of generator
? Proficiency in Microsoft office applications usage, especially Microsoft
Excel, Word and Power Point
? Good analytical and Presentation skills
? Good reporting capabilities
Ability to develop and manage site database.
Relevant Experience ? Minimum of 5 years’ working Experience
? Past Experience in a Telecommunication Environment is desirable

POSITION TITLE Manager, IN&VAS
REPORTING TO : Head IN & VAS
LOCATION: Lagos, Nigeria
JOB PURPOSE:
Participate in evaluation of design from IN and VAS Vendor and primarily
responsible for coordination of resolution of operational problems on IN and
VAS with Managed service provider with a view to ensure that services to
customers are not impaired at all times.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

MAJOR ACTIVITIES
To ensure IN and VAS
deployment as stipulated
in Annual Operating Plan
(Financial& Strategy)
Prepare CAF, Requisition Request for all IN and VAS projects
Create Project Tracking Systems and ensure continual improvements
in Business Model.
Monitor and enforce valuate all Service Level agreements, partner
with all stakeholders to achieve positive customer experience and
optimize costs
Speed of Resolution of
IN/VAS issues
(Customer)
Ensure that operational issues on IN&VAS are resolved within SLA
with Vendors
Escalate operational issues that are not resolved within SLA
Provide statistics of downtime from time to time
Participate in weekly operational meeting with Managed Service
Vendors.
Logistics and Project
Management
Perform the role of project Manager on IN&VAS related projects
1. Handle all logistics for the smooth implementation of IN&VAS projects
to avoid unnecessary delays.
Regulatory and
Statutory Compliance
Ensure all necessary documentation for configuration changes on all
IN&VAS are done.
Ensure that Managed service providers follow Airtel polices for
changes on all IN&VAS nodes.
Partner and Supply
Chain Management
Provide support and Ensure effective process of Partner
management of Service Provider in resolving issues relating to Core,
IN and VAS platforms.
Educational

Skills
? Any university degree In Engineering.
? Professional qualification in Project Management Techniques
Relevant Experience

? 8 years with a minimum of 3-4 years in GSM environment.
? Experience in IN&VAS operations
? Should be multi-skilled in IT and GSM technologies
