Responsibilities:

4.)  Concrete Pump Operator

Responsibilities:

Safely operate mobile concrete pumps with boom length up to 46mts.Daily maintenance and cleaning of assigned concrete truck mixer.Assist with minor repairs and changing of tyres.

Qualification / Experience:

4-5 years experience driving Mercedes Benz Actros trucks.2-3 years’ experience in the operation of mobile concrete pumps.Age 30-35 years.

5.)  QC Technicians

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

Carry out testing and QC in the plants and at the customers’ project site.

Qualification / Experience

Degree in Civil/Chemical Engineering.Must have at least 2 years relevant experience.

6.)  Batch Plant Operator

Location: Lagos
Reference: BPO 001

Responsibilities:

Ensure plants are operated safely and concrete is produced as per customer specifications.Organise drivers for delivery of concrete to customers’ project sites.

Qualification / Experience:

Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.Must have at least 3 years relevant experience.

7.)  Automobile Mechanic

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:

Repair and maintenance of Mercedes Benz Actros Trucks and pay loaders.Engine overhauling.

Qualification / Experience:

Trade test I,II &III in auto-mobile.HND/B.Sc. in auto engineering.5-6 years experience in earth moving equipment workshop.

8.)  HR Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:

Maintenance of staff database.Prepare employment contracts and any administrative documents.Conduct recruitment and selection exercises.Handle disciplinary issues.Oversee employee welfare.

Qualification / Experience:

9.)  Maintenance & Truck Workshop Senior Engineer

Responsibilities:

Ensure plans and vehicles are maintained in the most time efficient manner and routine maintenance are being planned and scheduled to minimize downtime.

Qualification / Experience:

Degree in Auto Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.Good working knowledge of CAT wheel loaders and Mercedes ACTROS concrete mixer trucks.2-3 years experience in maintenance of Asphalt or Concrete Plant.6 -7 years’ experience “hands on” in maintenance, engine repair and heavy duty equipment.

Background
In view of the award of a project to design and deploy a databank management system at the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) at their premises at 11, Suleiman Barau Crescent, Off Ibrahim Taiwo Street, Aso-Villa, Abuja by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and to be implemented by the ITS Abuja Team, there is a need for the commencement of implementation activities for the project titled GLOT29ING, hence positions to be filled for the successful coordination and implementation of project deliverables at specified timeline and knowledge would be transferred to BPP’s appointed ICT Unit before closure of project.

Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Electrical Engineer and IT Infrastructure Projects Officer, the Electrical Support Technician provides technical and maintenance support services to the ICT unit, with regards to electrical platform at BPP and various IT Infrastructure Projects. The Electrical Support Technician promotes a client-oriented approach.

The Electrical Support Technician works in close collaboration with the Networks team, Facility Management Unit at BPP and various IT projects and partially at CO for resolving ICT and electrical related issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
Summary of key functions:
Support to implementation of ICT systems;
Effective functioning of the Project electrical hardware packages;
Support to networks and facility management unit;
Provision of administrative support;
Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing.
Supports implementation of ICT management systems and strategies, focusing on achievement of the following results:
Compliance with corporate information management and technology standards, guidelines and procedures for the Project and CO technology and facility management environment;
Provision of inputs to the result-oriented Unit work plan.
Ensures effective functioning of the CO hardware packages, focusing on the achievement of the following results:
Performance of routine technical tasks, including changing of hardware electronic components (network racks and accessories, network wiring, power sources, etc.) and routine maintenance and repairs;
Support in the installation of network and IT equipment and accessories;
Support to systems administration team in the installation and removal of servers and IT equipment at the Data centre;
Ensure daily cleaning and maintenance of the raised floor, reporting changes to damaged tiles as and when due.
Supports networks and facility management unit, focusing on achievement of the following results:
Response to user needs and questions regarding electrical platform maintenance or troubleshooting for IT activities;
Installations of high voltage equipments analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems;
Assemble electrical engineering system according to given specifications using hand tools and measuring instruments;
Troubleshoot and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment based on recommendation from a senior engineer;
Electrical local area network installations;
Carry out grounding and bonding formations based on instructions and recommendations from a senior engineer;
Ensure electrical wiring and cabling under the raised floor is accurate and constantly functioning.
Assist to provide administrative support with regards to electricity to the facility management unit of BPP Office by monitoring and reporting generator performance to the senior engineer; monitor and report all cooling systems performance to the senior engineer; install and maintain electrical control systems; and carryout all other electrical and other physical engineering installations & repairs as delegated and assigned.

Ensures facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the CO, focusing on achievement of the following results:

Participation and assistance in the organization of training for the CO staff on ICT issues;
Contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice.
Competencies
Operational Effectiveness:
Ability to perform a variety of repetitive and routine tasks and duties related to ICT;
Ability to review data, identify and adjust discrepancies;
Ability to handle a large volume of work possibly under time constraints;
Good knowledge of administrative rules and regulations;
Detailed knowledge and understanding of clerical, administrative, secretarial best practices and procedures, in-depth knowledge of office software applications relating to word processing data management presentation, ATLAS, as required;
Ability to operate and maintain a variety of computerized business machines and office equipment in order to provide efficient delivery of service;
Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks by establishing priorities.
Managing Data:
Collects and compiles data with speed and accuracy identifying what is relevant and discarding what is not, records it in an accessible manner and maintains data bases;
Thoroughly and methodically collects, verifies and records data demonstrating attention to detail and identifying and correcting errors on own initiative;
Transmits file data; creates and generate queries, reports and documents utilizing databases, spreadsheets, communications and other software packages with speed and accuracy;
Interprets data, draws conclusions and/or identifies patterns which support the work of others.
Planning, Organizing and Multi-Tasking:
Organizes and accurately completes multiple tasks by establishing priorities while taking into consideration special assignments, frequent interruptions, deadlines, available resources and multiple reporting relationships;
Plans, coordinates and organises workload while remaining aware of changing priorities and competing deadlines;
Demonstrates ability to quickly shift from one task to another to meet multiple support needs;
Establishes, builds and maintains effective working relationships with staff and clients to facilitate the provision of support;
Promoting learning and knowledge management/sharing is the responsibility of each staff member.
Required Skills and Experience
Education:

A Secondary school or Technical Trade Test equivalent in Electrical Craft Work.
Experience:

4 years of relevant working experience with electrical operations and maintenance, Expert skills in Electricals installations, Generators, UPS, and Cooling Systems maintenance; and familiarity with best practices in electrical engineering design and operations is a great asset.
Language Requirements:

Fluency in the UN and national language of the duty station.

JOB TITLE: REGIONAL SITE ACQUISITION LAWYER
LOCATION: Kano, Lagos, Abuja

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that all sites in the projects are free from litigations and disputes, free of adverse claim and ownership, free of government acquisitions and all encumbrances in favour of third party
Advise the project team on site acquisitions and fulfil all requirements for acquisition of legal estate in relevant transactions
Protect the company against all risks associated with such transactions.
Set and specify title documents and legal requirements for SAQ
Train SA executives on how to identify and collect necessary documents
Negotiate and sign the lease agreement
Support Regional SA Manager
Reporting to Regional Project Manager

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Must possess LLB (Hons) from a reputable university in Nigeria and possession of BL with bias for property law
Must have a minimum of 4 years cognate working experience in SAQ obtained from working with Telecoms vendors, operators or major contractors
Must have strong social background and influential in the working region
Ability to speak Hausa language
Must have experience in landed litigation
Experience in a Telecoms Engineering company, Telecoms vendors or ICT is preferred and is of top priority
Should be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working conditions
Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel, Power Point)

JOB TITLE: REGIONAL SITE ACQUISITION MANAGER
LOCATION: Lagos & Northern Region

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure all sites in the project are suitable for the network
Ensure the site acquisition is done to specification, on schedule and at optimum cost
Define targets, plan site acquisition together with Network Design and Regional Project Manager
Sets up the site acquisition policy and principles, permits and train SA executives
Resolve community issues.
Report to Regional Project Manager and National Site Acquisition Manager

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science
Minimum of 4 years of work experience with operators and majors telecoms vendors
Strong social background in Lagos & North area
Must be familiar with local SAQ and permission working flow and procedures
Remarkable SAQ achievement in the regions

- Must have at least TWO years of work experience in the Research
Department of an investment bank, asset management, pension fund, insurance company or brokerage firm preferably having risen through the ranks.
- MUST HAVE direct experience writing investment research reports on companies
- Stellar writing skills; writing samples will be required
- Knows that a career in equity research is a voluntary choice they have made and not still
career curious
- Experienced in navigating through Excel
- Comfortable in use of MS Powerpoint in putting together presentations
- Great spoken English and comfortable conversing with clients, brokers
and potential clients over the phone and in person
- Zest for challenge and comfortable thinking outside of the box
- Passed at least the first level of CFA preferred though not a must; charter holders are welcome
- MBA OR Masters in Finance highly preferred

- Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Background
In view of the award of project to design and deploy a databank management system at Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) at their premises at 11, Suleiman Barau Crescent, Off Ibrahim Taiwo Street, Aso-Villa, Abuja by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and to be implemented by the ITS Abuja Team, there is a need for the commencement of implementation activities for the project titled GLOT29ING, hence positions to be filled for the successful coordination and implementation of project deliverables at specified timeline and knowledge would be transferred to BPP’s appointed ICT Unit before closure of project.

Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Systems Administration Team Leader and IT Infrastructure Projects Officer, the LAN Technician provides ICT and administrative support services to the ICT unit, provides daily technical support to users of information management tools and technology infrastructure at BPP and various IT Infrastructure Projects. The LAN Technician promotes a client-oriented approach.

The LAN Technician works in close collaboration with the Front Office, Management Support, End-User Support and Systems Administration team at BPP and partially at CO for resolving ICT-related issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
Summary of key functions:
Support to implementation of ICT systems;
Effective functioning of the CO hardware and software packages;
Support to networks and systems administration;
Provision of administrative and helpdesk support;
Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing.
Supports implementation of ICT management systems and strategies, focusing on achievement of the following results:
Compliance with corporate information management and technology standards, guidelines and procedures for the CO technology environment;
Provision of inputs to the result-oriented Unit workplan.
Ensures effective functioning of the CO hardware and software packages, focusing on the achievement of the following results:
Performance of routine technical tasks, including changing of hardware electronic components (disks, memories, network wiring, power sources, etc.) and routine repairs;
Support in the installation of commercial and in-house developed software and related upgrades;
Support to users in backing up and restoring their files, as well as in virus detection, removal and prevention.
Supports networks and systems administration, focusing on achievement of the following results:
Response to user needs and questions regarding network access and system maintenance or troubleshooting;
Assistance in backup and restoration procedures for local drives. Maintenance of backup logs. Assistance in off-site storage of backups;
Assist in the Site Structured Data Cabling and Termination, handle physical installation of cabling infrastructure, handle panel labeling, cable labeling, and backbone labeling and patch cable color code;
Certify every cabling data point to meet standard policies.
Provides administrative and helpdesk support, focusing on achievement of the following results:
Maintenance of an up-to-date inventory of software and hardware;
Maintenance of a library of ICT related reference materials;
Maintenance of the inventory and stock of supplies and spare parts;
Provision of ICT support to key events;
Maintenance of Unit’s files, logs;
Preparation of routine correspondence, faxes, memoranda and reports in accordance with CO SOP;
Extracting, inputting, copying and filing data from various sources.
Ensures facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the CO, focusing on achievement of the following results:
Participation and assistance in the organization of training for the CO staff on ICT issues;
Contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice.
Competencies

Managing Data:
Collects and compiles data with speed and accuracy identifying what is relevant and discarding what is not, records it in an accessible manner and maintains data bases;

Transmits file data; creates and generate queries, reports and documents utilizing databases, spreadsheets, communications and other software packages with speed and accuracy;
Interprets data, draws conclusions and/or identifies patterns which support the work of others.
Managing Documents, Correspondence and Reports:
Creates, edits and presents information (queries, reports, documents) in visually pleasing, clear and presentable formats such as tables, forms, presentations, briefing notes/books and reports using advanced word processing and presentation functions and basic database and spreadsheet software;
Edits, formats and provides inputs to correspondence, reports, documents and/or presentations using work processing, spreadsheets and databases meeting quality standards and requiring minimal correction;
Shows sound grasp of grammar, spelling and structure in the required language;
Ensures correspondence, reports and documents comply with established UN standards;
Ability to produce accurate and well documented records conforming to the required standard.
Planning, Organizing and Multi-Tasking:
Organises and accurately completes multiple tasks by establishing priorities while taking into consideration special assignments, frequent interruptions, deadlines, available resources and multiple reporting relationships;
Plans, coordinates and organises workload while remaining aware of changing priorities and competing deadlines
Demonstrates ability to quickly shift from one task to another to meet multiple support needs;
Establishes, builds and maintains effective working relationships with staff and clients to facilitate the provision of support;
Promoting learning and knowledge management/sharing is the responsibility of each staff member.
Required Skills and Experience
Education:

Secondary education with specialized formal training on IT systems;
A technical certification in networking, or cabling or basic systems administration is desirable not a requirement.
Experience:

4 years of relevant working experience in LAN and cabling operations and administration;
Skills in LAN Cabling testing equipment; Adequate knowledge of TIA/EIA 568B Straight & Crossed Cabling Standards;
Skills in Ethernet termination and using termination tools;
Familiarity with best practices in network design and operations is of great advantage.
