Job description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
Supervise and control the Electrical Detailed Engineering activities performed in Lagos for Project
Operations Security Camp Project.
Ensure that the detailed engineering deliverables are as per relevant contractual codes, specifications, procedures and schedule.
MAIN ACTIVITIES :
Use the general rules in place in the Engineering Team to supervise and record the work done by the Contractor(s)
Specific HSE MS aspects should be respected by the Detailed Engineering Contractor(s)
Use of the internal software tools to monitor the planned and realized work. Focus on the remaining works and check and review the progress.
Anticipate, raise and manage problems by checking in due time the Engineering documents
Anticipate, raise and manage problems by checking the submission schedule for engineering documents and monitoring the submission of engineering documents against an approved schedule.
Anticipate problems by checking in due time planning aspects related to all interface issues.
Cost analysis in case of additional work
Ensure that quality and correct engineering practices are followed together with proper planning and cost.
Maintain good relationships with Contractor(s), being flexible enough but also strict when necessary (safety or other aspects) to achieve the objectives of the Project.
Liaise with safety, cost, planning and quality control to improve effectiveness of team To be autonomous and able to work in difficult and pressing challenges
Job requirements
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 10 years work experience in Electrical Engineering
Experience of Telecoms, Instrumentation and Controls in Buildings
Fluent in English, Strong Communication skills, Autonomous, Highly motivated, Rigorous

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
Design
Supervise, Review, Approve Manage the Building Engineering Architectural Design of Onshore facilities, buildings, Accommodation, offices and all associated facilities.
Technical authority for Architecture and Building Engineering.
Ensure that the Scope of services for Architectural Design and Building Engineering is fulfilled in accordance with the Contract, with the Companies Rules and General Specifications and with applicable National International codes and standards.
Ensure that the Architectural Building Engineering Design deliverables are delivered as per the schedule with acceptable quality for procurement, construction, pre-com/ com and operation activities
MAIN ACTIVITIES :
Review Contractor deliverables for Architecture and Building Engineering. Review Vendor deliverables.
Participate to technical meetings Project meetings as and when required.
Ensure that the Design and Engineering complies with Company Basic Engineering and requirements.
Ensure that for the Architectural/Building part, the technical definition of the upgrade package is in compliance with the contract scope and with the Companies rules, standards and specifications
Coordinating all the other engineering activities and interfaces on systems (Architecture, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Instrument, Telecom, Safety, Security, External works, etc) with Project specialists.
Ensure that for the Architecture / Building section of the delivery of the technical document respects the schedule and quality for procurement, supply, construction, pre-com / com, operation activities, spare parts and maintenance
Attend site as and when required to review approve Architecture and Building Works. Review and answer to Design and Construction Contractor queries
Carry out necessary coordination with specialists of Company Head-quarters and all relevant approving authorities
Follow up on Inspections and Tests carried out by Suppliers and Contractors for Architecture and Building Scope
Provide Construction team with technical supports in reviewing Architecture and Building Engineering Deliverables and in field surveys and in field engineering coordination with Contractor and Subcontractors to ensure that Architecture and Building Engineering activities in the field are done as per the technical requirements and with acceptable quality.
Provide Interface Engineer and Engineering Coordinator with technical support for the interface management with other departments on the project and the asset.
Job requirements
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Building / Civil Engineering or Architectural. Education – Diploma / Degree Qualification
Overseas Experience – Preferable
Minimum of 10 years working experience in Building Engineering of Building Projects, i.e. Residential , Hotel
