The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) is a recent established Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) for the benefit of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The AUTHORITY will take off with an initial funding of US$1Billion. We are legislated to invest pledge funds on the behalf of the people of Nigeria for their short and long term benefit through investments of Savings for the future generations,Infrastructure development, Stabilization of the Nigeria economy.

JOB TITLE: CHIEF RISK OFFICER –ES00613

JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the CEO. He/she will responsibility for the design and the implementation of the NSIA’s enterprise wide risk management framework affiance identification. Other specific responsibilities will include;

JOB SPECIFICATION
Advice the NSIA management team and Board of Directors on the topic of corporate governance and best practices of risk management.
Define and implement the overall and integrated risk management framework and set guidelines for the development and implementation of supporting policies and procedures.
Defined the risk acceptance criteria and risk tolerance limits for each risk area across the NSIA operations. Ensure the risk profile is align to the overall returns and profitability of the SWF’s aspiration.

QUALIFICATION/ATTRIBUTES
1st degree/post graduate in Economics, Law, Accounting and other related subject or field also such as MBA.
Professional certificate in Finance/ risk and investment management will be considered.
Track record of planning and directing business analysis, risk analytics, modeling and loss prevention programmes.
Excellent knowledge in risk management practices and experience in market operational cross border risk management techniques and practices.
10 years of minimum experience in senior investment management and asset allocation strategies

JOB TITLE: MANAGING DIRECTOR/CEO-ES0061

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Board of Director, the successful candidate will review the day-day operations of the NSIA in line with the NSIA Act 2011.he/she will provide good leadership, director and guidance to the NSIA executive management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the corporate strategy and provide strategy guidance and oversight to the development of the NSIA’s management team in the development of tactic and operational plan.
Work closely with the Board of Director to formulate appropriate investment policies and strategies; and assist to implement transparent governance.
Responsible for the investment of the SWF, on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Develop the NSIA to have high ethical standard and establish a result-oriented performance driven culture within the organization.

QUALIFICATION/ATTRIBUTES
1st degree/post graduate in Economics, Law, Accounting and other related subject or field also such as MBA.
10 years of minimum experience in senior investment management and asset allocation strategies.

Professional certificate in Finance/ risk and investment management will be considered.

JOB TITLE: CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER – ES00612

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the CEO. He/she will be primary responsible for the implementation and operations of the investment funds of the NSIA in line with the strategies interns of the SWF for Nigeria. He/she will be the link between the NSIA and financial institution. A key component of the role will be to manage the SWF’s investment portfolios and takes overall responsibilities for the performances and safety of the portfolios.

QUALIFICATION/ATTRIBUTES;
1st degree/post graduate in Economics, Law, Accounting and other related subject or field also such as MBA.
10 years of minimum experience in senior investment management and asset allocation strategies.
Good business acumen, maturity and tact, including the ability to relate with the highest levels of management of financial institutions, financers and rating agencies.
High intuitive and excellent decision making skills.
Understanding the financial services sectors in the local and international terrains.
Professional certificate in Finance/ risk and investment management will be considered.

JOB SPECIFICATION
Serve as a critical resource person and advisor to the NSIA in respect of investments and assets.
Work closely with the Board of Directors. Be responsible for the implementations of NSIA’s investment decisions are consistent with defined objectives of the SWF’s risk tolerance and investment strategy.
Take responsibilities for the strategic allocation of asset across the 3 investment portfolios towards realization of SWF’s defined.

In addition, eligible candidates interested in any of the posts must possess the following:
Prior C-Level experience with minimum of 10years at senior – level management position.
Understanding of the global financial markets, domestic macro – economic policy issues.
Strong leadership, business management, interpersonal and influencing skills with excellent track record of measurable results.
