We are a major player in the polypropylene woven sacks business. Due to current expansion and the need to consolidate our leadership position, it has become necessary to seek for qualified professionals to join our team in the following positions:
Plant Accountant
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the person will be responsible for:
Preparation of monthly performance reports
Preparation of variance analysis reports
Assist in budgetary control and preparation of annual budget
Review relevant ledger/sub ledger accounts reconciliation
Monthly stock reconciliation
Preparation of input and output reconciliation report
Assist in the preparation of the company’s financial statement
Liaising with internal and external auditors
Support operational functions in resolving accounting and control system problems as directed
Performing period end accounting closing process
Qualification/Experience
BSc/HND in Accounting with minimum grade of 2.2 or lower credit
ICAN membership and knowledge of IFRS are required
5 years professional experience in a manufacturing sector. Experience in cost accounting.
Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office
Age not above 35 years
Accounts Officers
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the person will be responsible for:
Assisting in the maintenance and update of fixed asset accounting records
Rendition of withholding tax, PAYE VAT returns to appropriate authority
Reconciliation of Suppliers Accounts
Positing of Vouchers into the company’s ERP
Assist in stock take and reconciliation
Qualification/Experience
Minimum of BSc/HND in Accounting- Second Class lower division or Lower Credit
3 -5 years relevant experience in Accounting preferably in a manufacturing sector
Age between 28 – 30 years
