Oil and Gas Job- Nigeria LNG Job Vacancy for Instrument Supervisor/Trainer

INSTRUMENT SUPERVISOR/TRAINER

REF: HRP/2011/005

LOCATION: BONNY

The appointee will develop and deliver quality learning interventions in line with organisational requirements in order to progress production staff to agreed competence levels within their areas of operation.

The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop and deliver theoretical, practical tests and internal certification programs for members of the Instrument Skillpool in the various competence areas i.e.: Field instrumentation, Fire and Gas detection, Systems (DCS etc), Instrumented Protective Functions., Quality Measuring Instruments and Custody Transfer Systems.Monitor, audit, provide guidance and support the A&P (Assessment and Progression scheme) Assessor Training to line supervisors/Job Instructors to ensure training targets are met and ensure content of A&P remains current with regard to plant/equipment upgrades and operating practicesActs as Assessor/Verifier in the A&P process, maintain records and provides feedback to line management on individual operator/technician progressCommunicate with 3rd party training providers to monitor compliance and evaluate further in-house training requirements for returning Technicians and GraduatesOrganize internal and external exams (CIPS, Shell exams) course pre tests.

The right candidate should:

Possess a minimum of Bachelors degree (2nd Class Upper Division) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or PhysicsHave a minimum of 7 years experience in a petrochemical/engineering company with at least 3 years spent in a Supervisory role.Possess strong Computer skills in MS Office software.Possess good communications, supervisory and relationship management skillsNot be more than 35 years.
