The EMEA Channel Sales Support and Operations (CSSO) organization manages critical “proposal-to-cash” processes supporting HP’s Channel business across Europe, Middle East and Africa in all three of HP’s business units (PSG, IPG and EB) and in doing so directly supports the revenue and margin generation.
We are responsible for managing the end-to-end processes from the time a channel partner requests a quote from HP, leading to order intake, delivery and invoicing through to settlement of rebates and compensation payments. Our engagement focus areas are our Direct and Indirect channel partners as well as our Stakeholders within the business units; Sales, Category management and Supply chains. We also maintain close linkages with various internal functions such as Logistics, Credit Collection, Internal Audit, Brand Protection and Finance organizations.
Job Description Responsibilities:
The Operations Account Manager is responsible for in country partner and stakeholder engagement. Open position is for a geography scope that goes from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya to East Africa (Tanzania to Ethiopia) but also includes Angola.
Partner Relationship Management including regular reviews at the executive level of Premium Accounts
Partner business intelligence
Sell in coordination, communication and review
Channel Operations consulting- including internal stakeholder initiatives
New partner screening and contract negotiation
Escalation management
o Process escalations (logistic of product deliveries, customs clearance of products, or others)
o Sr. management escalations
o Standard account ‘crisis’ management
o Sr. management engagement on site
Coordination of vendor debit for premium accounts (HP payments to Partners)
Participation in Finance reviews for premium accounts
Country compliance engagement
Qualifications
Job Education Experience -
Bachelor degree
Min 6 years professional experience in a related role
Job Skills:
Demonstrates an excellent customer centric attitude and professionally and proactively manages escalations.
Excellent communication skills with ability to convey high impact messages clearly (verbal, written and presentation) to peers and management within and outside of HP
Proven ability to collaborate and network with other groups and functions, regardless of location, to reach business objectives
Strong ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with external customers/partners up to senior level management.
Solid understanding of a wide range of financial ratios and developing ability to apply a wide range of financial ratios and models in developing business opportunities and finding solutions to problems
Excellent understanding of internal business processes and policies.
Demonstrates strong motivation, a positive “can do” attitude toward work, shows initiative in contributing with ideas along with very positive attitude toward change and challenges. Provides constructive support to others in dealing with change and challenges
Fluent in English. Mastery of Portuguese language is a plus (Angola geography scope).
