Develop, set-up, implement the commercial and operational policy for Brunel Energy Nigeria within the objectives of Brunel International and in consultation with the Country Manager in order to realize both market share and commercial result increase of, and a constructive contribution provide to, the position of Brunel Nigeria Energy within the market it operates in.
Job description
PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contractual responsibilities
Check sign employment contracts (part of 4 eye policy)
Resolve salary payment issues between Contractors Finance staff
Oversee the preparation of documentation for Contractor Work Permits / Employment Pass.
Review client issued contracts (contract compliance, liabilities, etc).
Review client contracts on commercial, insurance and liability compliance (part of 4 eye policy)
Check Brunel standard client contracts before signing under 4 eye policy
Handle client / contractor on contractual questions and issues (including salary payment)
Commercial responsibilities
Sign-off on Costing sheets provided margins are within Corporate guidelines (Part of 4 eye policy)
Preparation Commercial Tender Bid (signing by Country Manager)
Prepare, check sign proposals provided gross margin is within Corporate guidelines (Part of 4 eye policy)
Negotiate client/Brunel agreements both commercially as legally
Participate in project pre-qualifications and pre-qualification meetings
Tender preparation tender review and in coordination with Commercial Manager
Assist Country Manager in preparation of annual budget and quarterly budget re-forecasts
Assist Finance Department in following up outstanding receivables with clients
Business development responsibilities
Maintain a project overview with all the target projects (to be included in the MMR)
Build close working business relationship with clients
Attend networking and industry events to establish new contacts
Work in cooperation with the various Brunel Management team on both local and international BD
Plan regular visits prospective clients to promote Brunel services in coordination with the Country Manager
Build and maintain close relationship with Contractor staff
Write project profiles / track records for business development / marketing purposes
Reporting responsibilities
Prepare monthly management report (MMR)
Update Project Overview (Monthly)
Leadership and Development
To give Lead to Brunel Energy Nigeria and planning, coordinating and controlling their work on an enthusiastic and motivating way with the goal of keeping the quality of the output and the results as optimal as possible.
Conducting appraisal meetings, and career conversations
Accompany new employees
Exchanging knowledge
Solving complicated problems and/or conflicts
Promoting cooperation teamwork
Obtaining advise from and coordinating work with other Brunel Managers
Coaching and training of all employees
Process Management
· Implement and monitor Brunel business processes in consultation with the company Quality Manager
· Aim for continuous improvement on business processes
