KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Create strategic media and corporate partnerships Devise and promote the company’s internal and external communication and positioningWrite and edit content for media relations and other marketing communications projectsManage related agency, consultant and vendor relationshipsGenerate media visibility by securing speaking engagements and high-profile media opportunitiesEstablish and maintain productive relationships with internal sources, reporters and other third partiesCollaborate on the development and execution of internal communication programsDevelop fresh and dynamic content for media and other marketing communications projectsIntegrate public relations into the total marketing strategy by working with management and the revenue team
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a minimum of a second class lower in Mass Communication or any related discipline from a reputable university3-5 years of communications and public relations experience in either an in-house or agency roleApplicant should not be more than 30 years of age.Superior writing and speaking skills, and attention to detailExperience in building brand awarenessStrong knowledge of traditional and new media and solid media contactsAbility to work well independently, as well as in a group Energetic, motivated, self-starterProven ability to manage simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines
