Purpose:
The principal responsibility of a painter/sign writer is to assist in painting works. Prepare paper/wooden stencils for signwriting works for road markings, signposts, frames, signboards.Key aims and objectives:
The painter / sign writer should ensure that all road marking stencils are prepared in a safe and timely manner. Adhere strictly to HSE rules to minimize hazards during signwriting works.Ensure that right tools and paints are used to minimize waste and site related hazards.Ensure he gives the supervisor the breakdown of equipment / tools/materials on weekly basis for effective material control.Prime Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist supervisor in planning, and executing works according to specifications of the General Manager. Assist in training other painters in signwriting works. Assist supervisors in inspecting works, projects.Assist in inspection of work materials and equipment supplied by suppliers.Perform more technical painting related jobs where sign writing is required.Other Duties:
