RESEARCH OFFICER


JOB DESCRIPTION

Prepare weekly stock recommendations for clients

Prepare and send out Pricelist and Market reports after trading each day

Prepare weekly and monthly Market reports

Send Corporate actions on stocks to clients

Manage Equities market research and analysis

Conduct and develop Bond Market research and analysis

Analyze half and full year results

Prepare and send out Company results in specified format

Liaise with other Stock market research firms

Should be able to give sound investment advice based on Info analyzed

Performing other related duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of HND/ B.Sc. in related discipline.

3 – 4 years experience in similar role in a Financial Services firm

Must have sound research skills and sufficient knowledge about equity markets.


BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE


PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of the role is to develop the corporate business operations of the company.

Responsible for identifying business opportunities and providing technical expertise and services to clients


RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop the corporate aspect of the business

To coordinate on a daily basis the activities of the Oil and Gas Industry, especially with:

NAPIMS, DPR, NIPEX, NNPC, or any new government body to be created

Build and foster relationships with players and key decision-makers in the sector (i.e. all IOC, NOC’s and Government bodies)

Demonstrate full knowledge of all matters pertaining to NDC and its execution

Introduce company to new players and business opportunities in the sector

Complete demonstration of business strategy and needs

Develop formal business proposals and business model designs to pitch to the market

Understand and follow up regularly on pre-qualification adverts or tendering information

Liaise with management in preparing pre-qualification/technical/commercial packages

Generate all internal monthly business development reports on request

To manage the relationship between the business (and by extension Client’s interests) and all industry players present in the country

To obtain full knowledge of the local market and business environment

Represent the Company at conferences and exhibitions


REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in petroleum engineering.

Minimum to no experience needed.

Candidate should be a fast learner

Evidence of marketing orientation and acumen

Experience in handling small to medium engineering projects is an added advantage

Be able to work with minimal supervision.

Have a good communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient with Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and presentation.

Be able to work effectively with a team

Must be a certified project manager


BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE


PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for identifying business opportunities, following up on leads as well as putting together documents for tenders/bids.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing the corporate aspect of the activities of the business.

Liaising with government parastatals, federal and state ministries, corporate entities and hospitals, oil companies etc

Handling daily operational activities of the business

Develop formal business proposals and business model designs to pitch to the market

Understand pre-qualification requirements and follow up regularly on pre-qualification adverts

Liaise with management in preparing pre-qualification/technical/commercial packages

Perform technical work as an engineer as required and responsible for maintaining an overview of all engineering issues.

Provides administrative support to technical staff.

Perform other related duties as required


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:


Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or any related course.

Member of a recognized Engineering Institution i.e. Nigerian Society of Engineering or COREN.

Minimum of 3 years business development experience

Must be a certified project manager

To coordinate on a daily basis the activities of the Oil and Gas Industry, especially with:
