Job Title: Credit Analyst

Job Description
Responsible for assessing credit risk of assigned porfolio of SME Banking with a view to minimising loss and maximising Risk adjusted Revenues.

Key Roles Responsibilities

To obtain at least 10 credit facility approvals monthly;
2. To spread and prepare scorecards for eBCAs within 3 working days of receipt of complete set of documents, as per checklist;
3. To respond to all BCA queries from approver within 12 working hours of receipt of valid information/responses from the Relationship Manager; www.naijajobslink.com
4.To ensure credit files are well segmented and 100% compliance on currency of all credit-related issues like relevant email correspondence etc.
5.To undertake a mini credit audit of at least 10% of portfolio credit files
6.To undertake at least 1joint call with Relationship Managers for all borrowing relationships.
7.Ensure full compliance with Group Policies and codes including KYC/CDD.
8. Ensure that credit analysis procedures and practices meet acceptable internal and external audit standards.
RISK MANAGEMENT

Description: Effective management of the credit risk portfolio of SME
Measures and Targets : 1.To ensure that credit grades promptly reflect changes in credit quality;
2.To ensure that all BCAs due for review are communicated to concerned RMs at least one month before due date;
3.To ensure all breaches or excesses are reported within 2 working days and the appropriate approvals sought;
4.To ensure no external downgrades of an account’s credit grade, by more than 1 credit grade, within 6 months of a BCA being approved;

Qualifications Skills
Good first degree in any discipline, working experience related to relationship management and/or analytics. A professional accounting qualifications will be an advantage.
Five years relevant experience banking/ analytical role in a well known marketing oriented organisation
Good numerate skills and a clear understanding of company financial statements.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical problem solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills

In compliance with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Act of 2004, all applicants should ensure that they have completed the mandatory NYSC programme. Job Description
Business development and relationship management

Key Roles Responsibilities
1.Directly work with customers to secure new Liability/Asset business relationships through analyses of needs and provision of SME Liability/Asset products and services.
2.Acquire profitable new accounts monthly through creation, development and maintenance of high quality relationships, that includes effective consultative selling and creative structuring of financial solutions. www.naijajobslink.com
3.Ensure an average of 30 customer calls per week with at least 1 conversion monthly.
4.Call plans and call memos to be collated and submitted every Monday morning to the Head of ME.
5.Develop a feedback system which will adequately keep the Head ME and Team Leader ME Lagos Island abreast of key customer service developments, weakness and strengths in the competition via weekly call reports.
6. Consistently deliver services to customers that match the Bank’s brand promise of being ‘The Right Partner

Qualifications Skills
