Planning Reporting Engineer Local Expats

Service Description: PMT – PLANNING & REPORTING SERVICES

SERVICE
Within the Project Management team, provide support to the Lead Planning Engineer on all Project Scheduling and Planning activities, aiming at completion of the work scope within the assigned duration.
ACTIVITIES

1. Development of the Project Summary schedule
2. Development of the Project Master Schedule.
3. Manage / coordinate the Level 2 integrated schedule
4. Coordinate with the Package Planning engineers the development and integration of the onshore commissioning schedule as well as the offshore hook up and commissioning schedules.
5. Assist in the review and analysis of CONTRACTORS Scheduling and planning documents (procedures,…)
6. Provide assistance in progress monitoring and control Project activities
7. Identify potential delays, analyse and issue proposed corrective actions as required
8. Prepare the Project Planning documents
9. Prepare the weekly report
10. Elaborate monthly progress report

OBSERVATIONS ON ACTIVITIES
Liaise with Cost control team and other project packages to define progress measurement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND

Qualification: BSc. Degree or HND in Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying with experience in the oil & gas industry (Substantial experience in another industry will be considered on a case by case basis).
Professional Experience (number of years): 5-10 years experience Oil and Gas – Offshore / Onshore Industry or similar Engineering environment. This position requires a professional with good technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrable hands-on competency in using Primavera P3e or P3 Project Planner, as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Proven ability to interface with internal / external specialists, other disciplines, contractor personnel, Company personnel, other Company project teams, and Company operations personnel at the existing facilities.
Strong communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with contractors and management as necessary.
