Job Description:
Duties and responsibilities
Amongst other duties, the Technical Brewer will;

Provide technical expertise in brewing and cellar operationsOptimize production processesCoach the shift teamsFacilitate team problem solving and decision makingWork in teams

Requirements:
Qualifications and skills required
The occupant of this position should possess;

Minimum of B.Sc degree in Brewing or Chemical/Biological/Physical Sciences and/or additional business qualificationsMinimum of five (5) years experience in brewingIBD membership and certification will be an added advantage

Indepth understanding of brewing processes, procedures, monitoring and control ( brewing, fermentation and post-fermentation) with a view to maintaining product qualityGood knowledge of yeast management/handlingProven leadership abilityAssertive and analytical skillsAnalytical problem solverGreat communication and team-related skillsGood understanding of the principles and practices of manufacturing excellence
