USA Scholarships 2014 – Academic Achievement Scholarship at University of North Texas

 University of North Texas is offering Academic Achievement Scholarship for pursuing masters and doctoral degree. The Academic Achievement Scholarship (AAS) is a one-year $1,000 tuition scholarship that begins during the Fall semester only. If all scholarship requirements are met, the student will automatically receive a one-time renewal of the scholarship. Scholarship is available to all newly admitted Doctoral and Master of Fine Art students that meet the minimum GPA requirements for admission into the Toulouse Graduate School. The application deadline is March 15, 2014.Study Subjects: Scholarship is awarded in Fine Art at Toulouse Graduate School.

Scholarship can be taken at: USAEligibility Check: All newly admitted Doctoral and Master of Fine Art students that meet the minimum GPA requirements for admission into the Toulouse Graduate School may apply for this scholarship. Newly admitted is defined as Doctoral or MFA students with less than 12 graduate credit hours towards their degree program. Students are not able to combine the AAS with any other Toulouse Graduate School fellowship or scholarship. Students admitted during the Spring and Summer 2014 semesters will be considered new for the 2014 – 2015 award year providing they do not have more than 12 graduate credit hours towards their degree program at the time of admission. Students required to attend the Intensive English Language Institute (IELI) upon arrival will not be eligible to receive scholarship funds until they have completed these programs and are only enrolled in graduate credit hours towards their doctoral degree.
-GPA Requirements: Students must meet the minimum GPA requirements for admission as outlined in the Graduate Catalog. Master’s Degree GPA: 3.4, Undergraduate Degree Overall: 2.8 and Undergraduate Degree Last 60: 3.0
-To be competitive for this scholarship, it is preferred that students present the following:
-Master’s Degree GPA: 3.5
-Undergraduate Degree GPA Overall: 3.0
