StreSERT Services Limited - Our client, a group of companies, presently needs a Dock Manager for its Fisheries and Aquaculture subsidiary. The ideal candidate for this role must have ‘hands on’ operational experience in this position especially in floating dry docks.
Job Title: Dock Manager

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities Must be proficient in marine dock workMust be capable of handling mechanical, electrical and hydraulic machineriesThorough knowledge of repair, maintenance, and servicing of generatorsMaintenance/repair works of floating docks operation and supervising of dock staffSupervises and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in dry dock, painting, clearing, and repair of vesselsOversees flooding operations and removal of vessels from dry dockDirect workers in plumbing operations to raise vesselPerform other duties as described under dock manager’s titleMaintenance of floating dock pump system and other machineriesRepairs and maintenance of pumps and motorsMust have general knowledge of electrical mechanical systemMust be responsible for daily operation of marine dock, ensuring that all docks are well maintained and in safe condition
Qualification
B.Sc/HND Mechanical or Ship Building Engineering with at least 5 years experience
