Oando Marketing is currently seeking a Laboratory Assistant whose primary responsibility will include assisting the Plant chemist in ensuring effective daily Laboratory Operations.

(Note: All candidates with less than 3 years post NYSC will be required to pass an aptitude test before they can be considered for interview).

SPECIFICATION DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

· Carry out detailed analysis of all white products in the Terminal Daily before loading to ensure that the products meet minimum specification.
· Sample from vessels at jetty and carryout detailed analysis of samples to determine the Quality of cargo before receipt into the storage tanks in the terminal. http://www.naijajobslink.com
· Sample and carry out detailed analysis of specialty products whenever available.
· Recertify all loaded trucks to ensure product quality before dispatch.
· Issue Certificate of Quality to all loaded trucks before they leave the terminal.
· Part of the inter-face clearance team to ensure no contamination of product.
· Submission of product samples to third party laboratories
· Ensures effective Housekeeping
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Chemist.

The Job: the appointee will be required to ensure safe operation of the electric power generation system and maintain the engine room fire and safety equipment.

The Job:

The appointee will be required to keep a safe navigation and cargo watch and maintain the navigation equipment and publications deck fire and safety equipments.

The duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure the safety of all personnel working for him, especially at mooring station when arriving and leaving port
• Responsible for the Medical locker and ensure the administration of first aid and medical treatment to Shipboard personnel.
• Ensure that the breathing apparatus and oxygen resuscitation equipment are in working condition and all associated records are properly maintained.

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 5 year’s experience on the Server/Storage/Backup system management in a large multi-site enterprise computing environment. Experience operating in a Data Centre or IT Shared Service is an added advantage.

JOB FUNCTION :
• Perform enterprise server check-up prior to server deployment to the network.
• Configure and maintain enterprise server systems using industry best practices.
