Role Summary/Purpose:
The Quality Operations Manager demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes in outages, installations, upgrades, etc.. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Quality Operations Manager demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes in outages, installations, upgrades, etc.. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Duties include:
Partner with CPMs, Service Managers, Installation Managers, functions, etc., and drive operationalizing QualityFor CS outages, engage with the CPM from 12 months before outage and drive operationalizing Quality from PLANNING to CLOSE OUTDevelop and maintain a communication plan to provide employees with adequate information concerning business goals and objectivesEstablish the climate that encourages an open two-way channel of communication whereby employees exchange ideas / suggestions and share informationDrive eTech and RFR rigor for Outages and InstallationsServe as the regional champion for Audits, QWI’sDevelop & implement Regional and Global Initiatives across PGS Africa PortfolioConduct Quality Audits for Outages, Installations and Support ServicesPerform GAP analysis and drive Continuous Improvement projects across G&SDrive Quality & Operation Excellence in CIR, DOR, RCA/NCA, NPS, Audits, Concession, Continuous Improvement, etc.Perform Outage Analysis and present in Monthly Field Services ReviewAssure audit of areas of responsibility for conformance to quality plans, systems, and requirementsProvide quality plans to monitor and report quality delays, control and monitor significant out of tolerance gaugesPerform KPI analysis, present in Monthly & Quarterly reviews and drive Continuous Improvement initiativesQualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Degree with 5+ years of experience in Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and Generator installation and maintenanceComputer literate with Word, Excel and Power PointGreen Belt certified (GE Employees)Must be able to travel inside MEA and outsideQuality certification (i.e. CQE) is preferred3+ years of experience as a Field Engineer in outages and or installation or Field Services Operations2 to 5 years of experience as a CPM or EquivalentKnowledge of GE P&W systemsAdditional Eligibility Qualifications:
