role of Assistant Production Manager.
Job Title: Assistant Production Manager
Key Responsibilities
• Create and manage monthly production schedules
• Make timely request for collateral including programme timetable
• Request for working materials and consumables for the machines
• Ensure machines are maintained and in good working condition always
• Desktop publishing and electronic document collation/preparation
• Recommend efficient, time saving project production flow
• Examine finished samples and approve quality before delivery
• Identify and select appropriate options for binding, inks, paper, varnishes and special printing processes
• Perform administrative tasks within the unit
• Liaise with Corporate Communications on institution’s printing needs
• Any other tasks to be assigned

Minimum Qualification & Experience
BSC/HND in Production or Operations Management or related discipline
Professional Certification: Production or Project Management
Cognate Experience: Minimum of 5years experience in a printing press
