    Sales Executive



     


    Job Description



    • We are looking for an aggressive, challenge-driven Sales Executive who will generate revenue for the company from its retail outlets and meet the outlets sales quotas.


    Responsibilities



    • Conduct market research and identify target audience, business opportunities, evaluate customer needs and prospects

    • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media

    • Receive walk-in customers, identify client needs and attend to all inquiries

    • Provide accurate information concerning products and service offerings

    • Manage product orders and deliveries

    • Ensure products are adequately stocked

    • Cross-sell products to customers

    • Develop and maintain the store customer base

    • Source for clients online

    • Revert customer feedback to the Supervisor/Customer Care Unit


    Requirements



    • Minimum of HND/OND

    • Minimum of a one (1) year sales experience

    • Must have an excellent verbal communication skill

    • Must have the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

    • Must be flexible to work shifts

    • Must have a good understanding of the retail sales process

    • Must a possess an excellent customer service skill

    • Must have a strong persuasive ability.

    Job Description



    • Working closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures within the company

    • Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation;

    • Recruiting staff, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates;

    • Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;

    • Preparing/Updating staff handbooks;

    • Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits;

    • Negotiating with staff and their representatives on issues relating to pay and conditions;

    • Administering payroll and maintaining employee records;

    • Interpreting and advising on employment law

    • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;

    • Developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements;

    • Planning and sometimes delivering training – including inductions for new staff;

    • Analysing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.

    • The ideal candidates should have a minimum of second class lower division from a higher institution, with a minimum of 1 year working experience in managing people within a corporate environment.
