As the Materials Manager, you will coordinate all the Purchasing activities, ensuring that the hotel benefits from the best available prices from the market without compromising the quality standards. You will drive the agreed cost savings monthly and annually through the procurement of goods and services by leveraging IHG’s purchasing power with suppliers. Also you will ensure that procurement activities are aligned with brand guidelines and support sustainability initiatives and simplify the purchasing process for Hotel operational departments.

 Key responsibilities of the role include:

Translate operating forecasts into material requirements plans and thereby determine standard stock and re-order levels to ensure that the hotel is fully supported with all the material inputs.Identify and develop reliable sources of supply through supplier appraisal and evaluation system as per the IHG purchasing standards and ethics. .Responsible for hotel Importation in liaison with the Accounts department.Supervision of all the duties in Purchasing department.Establish and maintain effective employee relations.Provide documented and accurate monthly Purchasing reports to the Financial Controller, General Manager showing the activity status and Performance targets.In return we’ll give you a generous financial and benefits package including duty meals, hotel discounts worldwide and the chance to work with a great team of people. We are currently recruiting our Financial Accountant

As the Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the Deputy Director of Finance & Business Support. Responsibilities include assisting in the management of day-to-day operations and assignments of Accounting staff, plan and organize work, communicate goals, and schedule/assign work and managing revenues received and dispersed including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit, General Ledger reporting, and cash handling functions for the hotel. You will prepare financial analysis of hotel operations including variance explanation and make recommendations to ensure the achievement of business goals and assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and reporting.

Job Requirements:

 A degree in Accounting/Business/Finance and 3+ years in hotel accounting or audit with experience in a Managerial role ACA , ACCA qualification preferred.Good understanding of the local business and operation environments and marketsService minded and ability to involve and support operationsBusiness savvy and good people skillsVisionary & strategic thinker and ability to convert this to action
