A. STATE COORDINATOR (MAPS) – Kebbi, Zamfara
Under the supervision of the Implementation Director, this position will oversee state level activities of the Malaria Action Program for States (MAPS)
REQUIREMENTS
• B. sc in Social, Physical or Health Sciences
• A post graduate degree in relevant field will be an advantage
• Experience in health related (especially malaria( project management
• Not less than 10 years post NYSC working experience in relevant areas with at least 2 years experience in a managerial position in development sector
• Experience working with government and donor funded programs sector will be astron advantage
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
• Good communication skills
B. SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER (M&E) (SIDHAS) – Bauchi
Under the supervision of the State Program Manager and with technical oversight from the Director of M&E, this position is responsible for the design and implementation of monitoring & evaluation for the state office
REQUIREMENTS
• MBBS with 3 – 6 years relevant experience in project level or state/national level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global Health Initiatives, or
• MPH/M. sc in relevant degree with 5 – 7 years relevant experience in project level or state/national level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global Health Initiatives, or
• B. sc/BA in Statistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Monitoring & Evaluation or in relevant degree with 7 – 9 years relevant experience in project level or state/national level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global Health Initiatives
• Familiarity with Nigerian Public Sector Health Systems and NGOs and CBs is highly desirable
C. SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER, PREVENTION, CARE AND TREATMENT (SIDHAS) – Bauchi
This position will provide technical support to implement high quality care, treatment and support activities focusing on clinical management of HIV/AIDS including provision of Anti-retroviral therapy (ART)
REQUIREMENTS
• MBBS with 3 – 5 years of progressive relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and ART in resource constrained settings
• Possession of MPH or post graduate degree in a related field
• Experience in project development with proven experience in the planning and facilitation of training
• Experience in large and complex SBC/BCC mobilization activities in donor funded national health focused project is an advantage
• Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs
D. SENIOR PROGRAM OFFICER, NATIONAL PROGRAMS (SIDHAS) – Abuja
Under the supervision of the Associate Director National Programs, this position will give support and coordination in program planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of assigned project activities
REQUIREMENTS
• B. sc in Public Health, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences or its recognized equivalent with 7 – 9 years of relevant experience with international development programs, or
• M. sc in Public Health, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences or its recognized equivalent with 5 – 7 years of relevant experience with international development programs
• Demonstrated success in multicultural environments
E. PROGRAM OFFICER (SIDHAS) – Akwaibom, Jigawa
REQUIREMENTS
• B. sc in Public Health, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences or its recognized equivalent with 5 – 7 years of relevant experience with international development programs, or
• M. sc in Public Health, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences or its recognized equivalent with 3 – 5 years of relevant experience with international development programs
• Demonstrated success in multicultural environments
