SECRETARY / DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION – CONRAISS 15

REQUIREMENTS

Good honours degree and M. sc/MA or a PhD in any of the Social SciencesVast experience in Administration in any of the government ministries, departments agencies tertiary or strategic institutions in Nigeria or abroadMust have risen to the rank of a Director  or has been a Deputy Registrar/Deputy Director for at least 5 yearsMust have national exposure with at least 20 years experienceMust be within the age bracket of 50 – 55 yearsMembership of the National Institute (MNI)would be an advantageDIRECTOR OF STUDIES – CONRAISS 15PhD in either the liberal Arts or the Social SciencesNot less than 20 years cognate experience in a university, research or strategic institution, public or private organizationMust have attained the position of a professor in area of specialization for at least 7 yearsAbility to initiate, develop and coordinate policy and strategy oriented projectsShould show evidence of work and leadership experience with interdisciplinary groups and sufficient evidence of scholarly contributions in reputable journals and booksGood knowledge of NIPSS would be an advantageDIRECTOR OF RESEARCH – CONRAISS 15

REQUIREMENTS

PhD in either the Liberal Arts or the Social SciencesNot less than 20 years of service either in university, research institutions, public or private organizationMust have attained the position of a professor in his area of specialization for at least 7 yearsAbility to initiate, develop and supervise policy and strategy-oriented researchesShould provide evidence of work and leadership experience with inter-disciplinary groups and sufficient proof of scholarly contributions in reputable journals and booksDIRECTING STAFF – CONRAISS 15/14

REQUIREMENTS

Should be Professor of Associate Processors and possess a PhD in the Liberal Arts, Social Science or Applied SciencesMinimum of 15 years post doctoral academic experience in tertiary, research or strategic institutionsAdministrative and collaborative research experience would be an advantageMust be within the ages of 50 – 60 yearsThe position is for a term of 2 years which may be renewed for another period of 2 yearsRESEARCH PROFESSORS (CONRAISS 15)

REQUIREMENTS

PhD in the relevant fields preferably in the Liberal Arts, Social Sciences or Applied Sciences to fill vacancies in the Departments of Social Studies, Media, Culture and Gender Studies, Science & Technology, International Affairs Security and Strategic StudiesMust have wide exposure in policy-oriented researchNot less than 15 years postdoctoral cognate research experience plus evidence of at least 10 scholarly publications in reputable journalsMust have attended and presented 12 conference and seminar/workshop papersASSOCIATE PROFESSORS (CONRAISS 14)

REQUIREMENTS

PhD in the relevant fields preferably in Economics, Natural, Environmental, Agricultural, International Relations, Defense and Security, peace and Strategic StudiesMust have wide exposure in policy oriented researchNot less than 12 years post qualification cognate research experienceSENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS (CONRAISS 13)

REQUIREMENTS

PhD in the relevant fields preferably in Economics, Natural, Environmental, Agricultural, International Relations, Defense and Security, Peace and Strategic StudiesMust have wide exposure in policy oriented researchNot less than 9 years post qualification cognate research experience with evidence of 7 scholarly publications in reputable journalsMust have attended and presented 5 conference and seminar/workshop papersFELLOWS (CONRAISS 11)

REQUIREMENTS
