All engineering aspects in support of safe and efficient execution of non-rig typeworkover and well interventions operations offshore Nigeria. It will also provide all engineering operations support for a HWOU (HydraulicWorkover Unit).. The roles of the workover/intervention team will include all well work within thepressure envelope, as well as rig-site preparation. The position will support in directing contract personnel, managing warehouse and logistics that support the operationsADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Engineering and Coordination Skills – Able to manage and coordinate enginnering, operations and logistics activities of many contractors to support workover operations in a complex and challenging remote location.Advanced engineering skills. Capable of analyzing and solving complex well workover and intervention problems. Technically & operationally credible with workover engineers, the Petroleum Engineering Group, WSM’s & contractor personnel.Demonstrate commitment to employee development. Operations will be supported from Chevron Nigeria’s Escravos facilities and shorebase near the mouth of the Escravos River. Security is well established at the Escravos shorebase. There is significant additional activity ongoing near Escravos with the nearing completion of the Escravos Gas to Liquids plant.The position will be based in the Escravos Terminal in Nigeria. Operations will be supported from Escravos with Petroleum Engineering support in Escravos.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. This is not required if candidate has more than 20 years experience in relevant workover intervention.WORK EXPERIENCE:
