Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNI), a nonprofit organization that promotes socio-economic development by supporting global health and economic initiatives in Nigeria seeks qualified personnel to fill the following position:

PROJECT DIRECTOR / DEPUTY MD

REQUIREMENTS

ª      MBBS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 7 – 9 years relevant experience with international development programs which include 5 years of relevant supervisory

ª      Or MS/MA in Social Science, Public Health or related field, MPH preferred with 9 – 11 years relevant experience with international development programs which include 5 years of relevant supervisory

ª      Or B. sc/BA in Social Science, Public Health or related field with 11 – 13 years relevant experience with international development programs which include 5 years of relevant supervisory

ª      Should be familiar with Nigerian Public Sector health systems, International donor organizations, NGOs and CBOs

ª      Demonstrated success in multicultural environments

SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER – M&E

REQUIREMENTS

ª      MBBS/MD/PHD or similar degree with 5 – 7 years relevant experience  with at least 5 years progressive experience working in monitoring and evaluation

ª      MS/MA in demography, economics and an MPH or similar degree with 7 – 9 years relevant experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation in large HIV/AIDS programs at national level

ª      Sound practical knowledge of statistics and the use of statistical software

ª      Proven experience in project development, planning and facilitating technical training

ª      Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs

THE FINANCE MANAGER

REQUIREMENTS

ª      BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 9 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in international development programs

ª      Or MS/MA in Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in international development programs

ª      Possession of CPA, ACA, ICAN or recognized equivalent is required

ª      Expert knowledge of USAID and other donor regulations

SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER – PCT

REQUIREMENTS

ª      MBBS/MD/PhD or similar degree with 5 – 7 years relevant experience with at least 5 years progressive experience working in the health or development field in Nigeria

ª      Not less than 5 years experience in care and treatment of HIV/AIDS especially with ARV program

ª      Possession of MPH or post graduate degree in a related field

ª      Proven experience in project development, planning and facilitating technical training

ª      Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs

SENIOR PROGRAM OFFICER

REQUIREMENTS

ª      BS/BA in Public Health, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Behavioral sciences or its recognized equivalent with 7 – 9 years of relevant experience with international development programs

ª      Or MS/MA degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences or its recognized with 5 – 7 years of relevant experience with international development programs

ª      Demonstrated cusses in multicultural environments

ª      Familiarity with Nigerian Public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs

SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

REQUIREMENTS

ª      BS/BA in Business Administration, Engineering, Estate Management or related field and a minimum of 9 years relevant experience with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in operations, maintenance and/or administration of facilities/fleet management

ª      Or MS/MA in Business Administration, Engineering, Estate Management or related field and a minimum of 9 years relevant experience with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in operations, maintenance and/or administration of facilities/fleet management

ª      Other relevant professional/management certifications

ª      Familiarity with donor funded procurement rules and regulations, particularly experience with USAID procurement regulations would be an advantage

SENIOR COMPLIANCE OFFICER

REQUIREMENTS

ª      BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent and 3 – 5 years relevant experience

ª      Or MS/MA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent and 3 – 5 years relevant experience

ª      1 – 3 years experience in internal control functions

ª      Familiarity with US Government grants or other client funded programs, contracting and auditing standards as they apply to effective management of multi-year funds

ª      CPA, ACA, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is an advantage

COMPLIANCE OFFICER

REQUIREMENTS

ª      B. sc in Accounting or finance with 9 – 11 years experience with international development programs that includes 3 – 5 years of supervisory experience in internal control functions

ª      Experience in accounting and accounting principles sufficient to prepare complex and detailed financial and budgetary analyses

ª      Experience in financial reporting and financial systems applications

ª      Familiarity with USAID or similar donor funded programs

ª      CPA, ACA or other relevant professional qualification

ACCOUNTANT

REQUIREMENTS

ª      University degree in accounting, finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent

ª      CPA, ACA, ICAN or r recognized equivalent

ª      Not less than 3 years experience in accounting related to NGOs and community level programs with increasing responsibility

ª      Proficiency in the usage of accounting software like QuickBooks

ª      Familiarity with USAID funded programs and non-governmental organizations in Nigeria

ª      Experience must reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above

HUMAN RESOURCE ASSOCIATE

REQUIREMENTS

ª      Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business/Public Administration or related with 2 – 3 years work experience in the areas outlined

ª      Ability to work well with others and to develop and maintain compatibility among project staff, subcontractors and recipients of assistance

ª      Computer literate and proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheets

ª      Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

CONTRACTS & GRANTS OFFICER

REQUIREMENTS

ª      BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent and 3 – 5 years relevant experience

ª      Masters degree in Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent and 1 – 3 years relevant experience

ª      Good working knowledge of donor contracts and grants regulations

ª      Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is a plus

ª      Experience must reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

REQUIREMENTS

ª      BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent and 2 – 3 years relevant experience

ª      Or MS/MA degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent and 2 – 3 years relevant experience

ª      Proficiency in the usage of accounting software like QuickBooks

ª      At least 2 years supportive role/experience in office management and administration

ª      CPA, ACA, ICAN, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant professional qualification is desirable

ª      Familiarity with donor and local financial contractual procedures is a plus

ASSISTANT TECHNICAL OFFICER – PCT

REQUIREMENTS

ª      MBBS/MD/PhD or similar degree with 1 – 3 years relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART in resource constrained settings

ª      Possession of an MPH or post graduate degree  in a related field

ª      Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs

SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER

REQUIREMENTS

ª      MBBS with 3 – 5 years of progressive relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained setting

ª      Possession of an MPH or post graduate degree in related field

ª      Experience in project development with proven experience in the planning and facilitation of trainings

ª      Experience in large and complex SBC/BCC mobilization activities in a donor funded national health focused project is an advantage

TECHNICAL OFFICER – LOGISTICS

REQUIREMENTS

ª      MPH/MSC in relevant degree with 3 – 5 years post NYSC experience with at least 1 year experience in managing a PSM cycle, including rational health commodities selection, forecasting/quantification, quality assurance spanning the PSM cycle, warehousing/storage, distribution and LMIS

ª      Or B. Pharmacy, B. sc in Logistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry or any relevant field with 5 – 7 years post NYSC experience with at least 1 year experience in managing a PSM cycle, including rational health commodities selection, forecasting/quantification, quality assurance spanning the PSM cycle, warehousing/storage, distribution and LMIS

ª      Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs is desirable
