Job Description
Purpose Statements:
The job role seeks to ensure adequate project planning with well defined project life span, cost budgeting & resource requirements. It will ensure that proper configuration management, contract administration and documentation of all required project plans are put in place. It ensures that projects are carried out without loss of revenue to the company, in a cost effective manner and within approved budget.
Key Deliverables

• Develop Project management plan and execution strategy for all Sahara Bulk projects
• Develop cost management plan for all Sahara Bulk projects and oversee execution of procurement plans
• Development on In-house project schedules and validation of vendor preliminary project schedules
• Liaise with the project engineer to ensure adequate project planning for implementation of all Sahara bulk projects
• Ensure proper management of the tendering process for contractor selection and subsequent approval documents
• Perform configuration management for all project design documents and procurement specifications
• Generate all required project management documentations, plans and reports in line with standard project methodology
• Perform contract administration and validate Vendor schedule performance reports
• Impact of change request on project schedule and cost management plan
• Project engineering role for supervision of Sahara Bulk major projects as delegated by a Project responsibility matrix
• Review of engineering design documents in line with discipline expertise
Additional Information
Minimum Qualification / Experience:
• B.Sc Engineering – Electrical or Civil with 3-5 years experience of Oil downstream business (Preferably Structural Civil Engr. and Power / Instrumentation Electrical Engineer)

• Project engineering experience for a minimum of 2 years in the Oil downstream business

Knowledge/Skills:
• Familiarization with Project management methodology with CAPM certification an advantage
• Cost engineering role with exposure to tendering process, contract administration and development of Bill of Materials.
• Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft office and Microsoft Project.
• Strong negotiation and purchasing skills
• Strong organizational skills
