A suicide bomber crashed through the gates of the United Nations Building, Abuja, rammed into the ground floor of the house and detonated a bomb.
The resultant explosion completely wrecked the truck, killed the driver instantly, and destroyed a huge part of the building.
About 20 bodies have been evacuated and taken to the National Hospital. It is yet to be confirmed how many are dead. Rescue work is ongoing at the site.
Hundreds of workers were said to be in the building at the time of the explosion. Fire fighters and police officers have cordoned off the area.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but it is suspected that this may be the handwork of radical Islamist sect, Boko Haram.
