Position: WHEAT OPERATIONS MANAGER
Department: Flour Operations
Job Details:
Reports to the Flour Operations Director, manages the handling
of bulk wheat from ship discharge to supply in the mills and from bulk loading
to varied demands in volume and specifications. Maintains high standards of
hygiene, housekeeping and operational efficiency within the wheat transfer system
and head house facility. Enhances and develops skills of his team, identifies
relevant competency training gaps and follow through with the required training.
Manages the daily reconciliation of stocks and works with agreed key measurement
criteria within the company.
QUALIFICATION:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
THE PERSON:
The person should be self confident with excellent
interpersonal skills, must be an effective team player, proactive and physically fit.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years working experience in an automated
fast moving and continuous (24/7) production environment. Computer literacy with
experience in using PLC operating system is also necessary.
