Our Company Zone International Petroleum (ZIP) is an Oil Service Firm specializing in Fuel Condition Monitoring and Heavy Duty Equipment Supply.

As part of our business expansion drive, we are currently seeking self motivated, resourceful and result oriented personnel for the following position:

Field Service Mechanical Technician

Location: Lagos

Applicants for this position must have the following minimum qualification

City & Guilds, OND Qualification or equivalentAt least two years experience working in regular contact with diesel generators, tanks, compressors, regulating equipment and distribution systems

Primary Responsibilities

Maintenance of essential generator e.g. caterpillar diesel engine and gas enginesMaintenance of turbine driven gas compressorsMaintenance and operation of Diaphragm Pumps, Reciprocating PumpsExperience in Facilities Management of Fuel Tanks and Cleaning of TanksMaintenance of Instrument air compressorsOccasionally preparing demos using ZIP equipmentEnsuring most economical and effective layout of equipment installations together with achieving high level of productivity in work assignedMust be able to adhere to safety rules and regulations, taking precautions is essential to guard against work hazardsMust safeguard, protect and ensure proper use of all ZIP funds and/or propertyThe technician will perform other duties and special assignments as required.
