Our Client in the Oil & gas Industry with ambitions to expand its operations beyond Nigeria requires the following position to be filled urgently:

Business Development Officer Ref: OG/04

Business Development Officer will meet and exceed monthly sales quota objectives by acquiring the accounts of businesses within assigned geographical territory. Candidate must be able to sell products and services to gain new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking and generating leads and referrals.

Key Responsibilities

Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques
Continuously update knowledge of company’s products, services, and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace

Fully utilize all sales force automation, funnel management and prospecting tool
Manage sales funnel and generate report on sales activities and forecasting

Skills and Qualifications

BSc/HND in Social Science
2 years of Business Development experience with demonstrated history of achievements
Have knowledge of training and consulting
Be optimistic and possess leadership skills
Ability to manage customers
Ability to absorb large amounts of technical knowledge
Possess a good business writing skill
