Job Description Lead, manage and develop MTNN supplier quality assurance requirements including update and management of the supplier profile questionnaire processDue Diligence, Supplier Audit and Supplier Performance EvaluationoDevelop the due diligence standards and verification process for suppliersEnsure verification of the shareholding and ownership of companies with CAC to ascertain beneficial ownership of supplier organisationsDevelop, monitor and control the process and standards for supplier auditsDevelop, monitor, control and update the supplier performance evaluation, monitoring and rating processDevelop criteria for measuring suppliers using a rating systemDevelop criteria and conditions for the blacklisting and/or grey listing of suppliersControl and monitor the blacklisting and/or grey listing of suppliersManage the MTNN Approved Supplier List to ensure continual improvementDevelop, monitor and control the process and standards for product performance evaluation
Local ContentDevelop and manage a classification scheme for MTN’s product/service requirementsIdentify indigenous or local suppliers that have the potential to provide inputs that are mainly foreign-sourcedIdentify opportunities to develop business relationships with such suppliersDevelop reporting format and metrics for the local content element of MTNN’s operations
Asset DisposalCoordinate the activities required to achieve disposal of unwanted MTN assetsIdentify enterprises that can provide the most economical value for assets to be disposedProvide periodic updates on asset disposal activitiesData ManagementDefine and control the data and document management process for the unitRequired Skills At least 8 years related work experience in a reputable organisation which includes:Providing quality assurance services to clientsSupplier account managementContract managementSupervisory/ managerial experienceQualification A good first degree in a science, engineering or any numerate discipline A professional qualification in Quality Management, Accounting, or Purchasing & SupplyJob Conditions
