Job Description:
•Identify third party movers and freight companies for use in relocation of offices, residences, and for distribution of facilities items
•Co-ordinate dispatch staff operations
•Analyze courier services and ensure tariff compliance
•Monitor offshore collections of goods and mails and ensure timely preparation of transit report
•Take stock of all bulk deliveries in and out of the mailroom and ensure number stated on airway bill corresponds with items received www.nigeriabestjobs.com
•Monitor vendor performance and report to Line Manager on timeliness and efficiency
•Ensure damage /loss is reported, to Line Manager for documentation and compensation by the concerned courier
•Perform quarterly spend analysis to ascertain spend per head per location, and recommend adjustments in quantity where required
•Perform random, unannounced stock count at the inventory store and warehouse to ensure proper record-keeping
•Provide weekly activity report to line manager as may be defined
•Oversee the acquisition, receiving, issuance and distribution (where required) of office refreshments and consumables to and from the Facilities warehouse
•Ensure proper management of the transit warehouse for Facilities items acquired for distribution to various locations or returned from various locations after use

Required Skills:
•At least 4 years experience in Logistics (2 of which must be in a supervisory role) in a structured environment involving the receiving, processing and distribution of a variety of items
