Tai Solarin University of Education the first University

of Education in Nigeria was established as a specialized

pedagogy to meet the various challenges of contemporary

Position: Quantity Surveyor

I



Academic/Professional

Qualification



  • Prospective candidates must possess a minimum of Second

    Class lower division Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying

    from a recognized institution.



  • In addition, Candidates must have a minimum of Three

    (3) years post-qualification experience and must be duly

    registered member of the Quantity Surveying Regulation Board

    of Nigeria (QSRBN) or Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyor

    (NIQS).



Condition of Service



  • The Conditions of Service are attractive and can

    compare favourably with what obtains in any public University

    in the Country.



  • The successful candidates who qualify for pensionable

    appointment will be on probation for three (3) years after

    which the appointment may be confirmed to a retiring age,

    provided the performance of such person is considered

    satisfactory to the University.



  • The Contributory Pension Scheme as adopted by the State

    Government and appropriate allowance as may be approved from

    time to time by the University Governing Council shall be

    applicable to all staff



Position: Architect I



Academic/Professional

Qualification



  • Prospective candidates must possess a minimum of Second

    Class lower division Honours Degree in Architecture from a

    recognized institution.



  • In addition, candidates must have a minimum of Three

    (3) years post-qualification experience and must be duly

    registered member of the Achitecture Regulation Council of

    Nigeria (ACON)

    compare favourably with what obtains in any public University

    in the Country.



  • The successful candidates who qualify for pensionable

    appointment will be on probation for three (3) years after

    which the appointment may be confirmed to a retiring age,

    provided the performance of such person is considered

Position: Principal Engineering

(Civil)​



Academic/Professional

Qualification



  • Prospective candidates must possess a minimum of Second

    Class lower division Honours Degree in Engineering (Civil

    Engineering or Electrical) from a recognised

    institution.



  • In addition, Candidates must have a minimum of Nine (9)

    years post qualification experience and must be a duly

    registered member of the council for the Regulation of

    Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

    in the Country.



  • The successful candidates who qualify for pensionable

    appointment will be on probation for three (3) years after

    which the appointment may be confirmed to a retiring age,

Position: Director of Health

Services



Job Responsibilities



  • The Director of Health Services shall be responsible to

    the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day running of the

    University’s Health Centre and give adequate supervision and

    advice for all the medical related issues in the

    University



  • He/She shall oversee the smooth coordination of the

    University Health Services



Academic/Professional

Qualification



  • The candidate for the position must possess a Degree of

    Bachelor’s of Surgery, Bachelor’s of Medicine (MBBS/MBCHB) or

    its equivalent from a recognized institution.



  • Membership of relevant professional bodies such as

    Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) National Association of

    Doctors in University Health Services (NADUHS), Association

    of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria

    (AGPMPN), etc.



  • Computer literacy and possession of a higher Degree

    shall be an added advantage.



Experience



  • At least Fifteen (15) years of relevant

    post-qualification cognate experience preferably in a

    University or related institutions and must have served as a

    Deputy Director Physical Planning for not less than three (3)

    years.

  • The successful candidates who qualify for pensionable

    appointment will be on probation for three (3) years after

    which the appointment may be confirmed to a retiring age,

Position: Director of Physical

Planning



Job Responsibilities



  • The Director of Physical Planning shall be responsible

    to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day running of the

    Directorate of Physical Planning



  • He/She shall over see the Directorate of Physical

    Planning in the University as well as advice on the physical

    planning requirements of the institution.



Academic/Professional

Qualification



  • A minimum of Second Class Lower Division Honours Degree

    or equivalent qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning

    or other related disciplines from a recognized

    University.



  • Membership of relevant professional bodies such as Town

    Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC) Architects

    Registration Councils of Nigeria (ARGON), etc.



  • Computer literacy and possession of a higher Degree

    shall be an added advantage.



Experience



  • At least Fifteen (15) years of relevant

    post-qualification cognate experience preferably in a

    University or related institutions and must have served as a

    Deputy Director Physical Planning for not less than three (3)

    years.
